Great Air Con for hot weather! Very clean. Not noisy, whilst still being a reasonable walking distance from town. Coffee Van over the road a definite bonus, as was the pool for us big kids. Would stay again, great value for money.

Benalla has some wonderful history, go and visit the Visitor's Information Centre. The art gallery is fantastic and my favourite place, they also have a lovely cafe, not open Tuesdays. Very pretty botanical gardens by the art gallery to wander and ponder. The main street has everything you would need on a trip including, banks, clothes, a Reject shop, phone shops etc. It does seem to have a few too many bottle shops and I did notice a few spaced citizens!Jade RosinaUnited States - 10Scored 10

Only stayed in Benalla one night. We got up in the morning to get breakfast and head back to Melbourne. We were pleasantly surprised at the number of options in relation to good cafe's. Our accommodation was located close to the town centre so made life very easy for us. Also an easy stroll in the other direction to the North Eastern Hotel, which has a big open fire, in the cooler weather. Great meals and extremely friendly, helpful staff. Benalla is very quiet, minimal traffic, and very friendly service in the many shops and eateries. Take a drive out of town and follow the Silo Trail. Very interesting.Carol
