Situated about 15 minutes from Nannup on the banks of the Blackwood River the serenity was great with views out to the forested hills and river. The chalet was very private and the hot tub was terrific. The veranda was so peaceful. perfect spot for some relaxation.

It’s a beautiful property, we enjoyed the house, although we were late arriving, the darkness arrived and there was a reason that the party did not let us know how to go to the Ford House when she had pneumonia.

We absolutely loved the beauty, peace and location of the property. The cottage is a classic wooden cottage from earlier settlement and was pleasant and spacious. The beds were comfortable and the chimney worked very well and we had plenty of wood for our stay. The owner Ron was a delightful gentleman, very helpful and knowledgeable. We will certainly come back to Woodlands next time we return to Balingup.
