The Bower is a beautiful studio apartment with a private garden, which we were not able to enjoy due to the rain! The bed was very comfortable and we loved the rainfall shower in the spacious bathroom. We enjoyed the treats left for us by the host, Robert. He was very friendly and showed us around the main 2-bedroom cottage on the property. It is also beautifully decorated and styled. We had a delicious dinner at the pub on the corner, conveniently only 200m up the road.

Location was convenient to UNE and Town. View was excellent over town. Breakfast room was bright, warm and sunny.
Breakfast was adequate. Some fruit such as a banana would have been good to put on cereal or toast. Undercover parking was good to have.

In the mountains this motel feels a bit like a chalet with vaulted ceilings and lots of floor space. Lovely quiet residential neighbourhood too. I had car trouble during my stay and had to coordinate getting to the mechanic. Front desk were lovely in trying to accommodate me as much as possible, given that my room was rented out that afternoon. It really meant a lot to me that they were interested in helping me meet my needs.
