Breakfast had fresh eggs in every form which was good. Other fresh things like fruit salad or bircher muesli were missing. So, all in the first meal of the day was a bit sub-standard compared to many other alpine locations. .

Stuben is a small village, no big choice of restaurants and you will need reservation everywhere. There is one bar for an after ski drink with limited aprés if you're after that part of the skiing experience. In summer it would have been excellent for hiking, in winter a perfect escape from the more frequented resorts, and very central for choosing a variety of ski fields. We stayed to see friends just before end of summer season. The pool and the spa were a wonderful unexpected bonus for the turn of the weather. A real plus and I would only ever stay at the Post in the future.

The hotel has been very recently renovated, mostly with wood and stone, which makes for a superb cosy atmosphere. Car park available for free just in front of the hotel. Fine breakfeast in a traditional "Stube".
