* Very friendly staff We had an overnight stay on our way back home from vacation. We arrived pretty late, but the hosts got us toasts even though the kitchen was already closed. They even managed to find a tourist fridge to cool down some stuff we had as the fridge in the room wasn't working. * Great location It's close to S10 highway, so very convenient to get to when you're traveling south/north. The place itself was very quiet.

I was surprised at how nice the hotel was given its proximity to the train station. It is a family owned business and it is reflected in the cleanliness, the breakfast, the front desk staff and overall atmosphere. The room price was a value for the stay. It was in a safe area and I didn't feel threatened at all going back and forth to the hotel.

Newly renovated in August 2018, the Hotel Donauwelle is located on the banks of the Danube river, offering panoramic views.

Staff was quite friendly and helpful, rooms were clean and comfortable - maintained regularly as well, and the overall comfort was high. Location was also quite convenient, as we traveled by car and the access to the highway was right next to the hotel, and we used Linz as an HQ of sorts during our trip, so that was a big plus for us. Furthermore, it not being exactly in the center meant the traffic density in the evenings also dropped down, making it generally more comfortable for a family.
