WE liked the spread of the breakfast as well as the dinner menu was very nice, and the taste was good. We liked the idea of having a fixed table for us, so we can go and use the same table during our stay. The dinner was lovely.

Superbly convenient location for skiing.
Superbly convenient location for skiing. But Mayrhofen is only a 9 minutes' bus ride away, and it is itself directedly connected to the skiing area by two big cable cars, so staying there is a serious, realistic option.

Liked - easy access to lifts with good free car park - very civilised!
Didn't like - Finkenberg is a rather cramped resort on a hill, making it somewhere you may not feel inclined to wander around.

Beautiful small town up in the mountains, sunny and quiet at the bottom of a very big ski domajn and not to far from the glacier Tux.
Shops close very early (latest 18:00), helps you save good money on things you don’t need.
There are a few restaurants along the main road, good food and not very pricey. Reservation may be neccesary in high season. There is also a nice apres ski at the bottom station of the cable car, in the town if you like to party in your ski clothes.
Mayrhofen is a short drive away and roughly 20 km away there is an amazing aqua park well worth visiting (20 eur/adult 10/ kid <15 yo for 3 hrs of various pools and sauna)

The nature surroundings are beautiful and easily accessible...
The nature surroundings are beautiful and easily accessible using cable-ways. One can choose trips (hikes or by a bike) with different difficulty. I can also recommend carefully and interestingly developed nature trail with explanations on the boards (a close Lanersbach area), the glacier over Hintertux, countless combinations of various trips around Hintertux, a waterfall trip, trips between Lanersbach and Vorderlanersbach, and many others. From Pankenjoch, many trips are available if one prefers developed easier paths (usually, many people are there). Restaurants are very good everywhere, namely "-alm" or "-hütte" with various specialties (e.g. yoghurt, strudel). The bus transportation is excellent, some 30 minutes between two buses. Many parking places for cars, if necessary. Interested people can (at some rocky locations) choose also mountaineering with different degrees of difficulty. A larger town is Mayerhofen that is not far and it is also easily reachable by bus (or cable-way from the above mountain top).
This lovely and quite private hotel is located slightly above Finkenberg. This allows it to showcase a spectacular view on the mountains which surround it. Host Silvia was very friendly and welcoming. We had an opportunity to choose a room, though both options were great. When the weather is good, you also have a chance to have breakfast on a private terrace which is full of sun in the morning. Rooms are stylish, recently renovated and have balconies.
Adlerhorst family is super nice! You will feel there like at home. Residence is in typical austrian style, clean, modern inside. Apartements have everything you need (own kitchen, big bedroom, big living room, big balcony with mountain views etc.). Residence and services were absolutely perfect. Location of residence is also great! It is close to everywhere, especially to ski areas (8 min by car to Penken, 18 min by car to Arena Zillertal).

Nice, clean room in the quiet town of Finkenburg. The host met us with the keys and offered to help with anything we needed. Nice balcony and a small grocery store very close by (walking distance). Perfect "home base" for our day of hiking. No breakfast but free parking right in front of the hotel. We enjoyed our stay!
Attractive setting at the edge of the village. Spacious flat. Well equipped. Helpful and friendly hosts. Everything as described in the listing. Good bus services to Finkenberg lifts, Hintertux glacier and Mayerhofen. Pleasant paths for walks from the doorstep, e. g. down into Mayerhofen or along Finkenberg's gorge.
Amazing, cosy and warm hotel in the Alps. Close to lots of great hikes and not far from a fantastic golf course. The room was spacious and had well appointed. The restaurant was lovely, clean and the food was delicious. When we come back to western Austria we will definitely come back to this lovely place.
Very friendly owner, rooms well maintained and very clean . Good breakfasts . Great place to stay for ski - Finkenberg station can be reached or by ski bus (30-40m from home) or by car - 3minutes . Starting point to drive to Hintertux also ok -15 minutes to drive . Well recommended place .
Fantastic location with an amazing view, and great breakfasts and dinners.
Very friendly staff.
Gym equipment was the best from dozen of hotels all over the world where I tried to use gym.
EV charging stations.
We stayed in on the rooms before refurbishment, but it was great too.
We were greeted with a warm welcome by the owner after a very long drive and she made us feel instantly at home. We both are a great fan of the cosyness of the hotel in general! The beds are big enough and very comfortable.
Everything was there for a great ski-holiday.
Would recommend!!
Everything was as described and met our expectations.
Very friendly and professional owners and staff.
The nearest ski lift is approx. 300 m away and you rather have to drive to it by car or ski bus, which stops right next to the hotel.
I liked that the rooms were very clean, cozy and with amazing view to the mountains. perfect breakfast with variety of choices and high quality of food. the hotel also has various choices of beer from different brands.
