The city has a number of parks and interesting architecture. It also has a number of craft beer bars and restaurants, although many do not open until the evening. The Temple bar is an exception. The city is well organized, with streets named with numbers (which makes it easier to walk around). There are several artesanal breweries with good quality. The city is very flat which makes it easier to go for a stroll or ride a bike. There are lot's os students around due to Universidad de La Plata. Supermarkets are not that great but are good enough for basic needs. There is a European atmosphere in this city and population. I enjoyed all my interactions with locals, that were polite and helpful.

Also, location was great: I had appointments downtown, and I was within walking distance of everywhere I had to go. Finally, the hotel has its own parking facility. It is small (only 6 lots), so make sure you book yours together with your stay. Parking in downtown La Plata is a nightmare, and not for free.MMarcosArgentina
