The city is beautifully situated on the river. It has very interesting buildings. You can walk along the river where there are many restaurants and cafes. Difficult access to the fortress and walking between the old part of the city.

Was very underwhelmed by Berat. One big building site and litter everywhere. View is alright but nothing special. Not much to do. The best thing about this hotel is that check-out was supposed to be at 11 a.m., and the hotel owner extended it until 1 p.m., since I asked her to extend it because of my online meeting, which I was very happy about. Also the reserved parking lot is a big plus. Great value for money.

Breakfast was huge, with eggs, cheese, meats, bread, vegetables, fruit, coffee, tea, and fresh squeezed orange juice all making an appearance. I would absolutely stay here again and so far it is my favorite stay in Albania.
