I stayed at Ikamu's Lodge with my husband and daughter for a week, we came to Johannesburg for a wedding, the place is actually better than the photos. The owner Daivd is very helpful and friendly, the place is very clean, he has a whole team of staff to look after the place. We took lots of good photos of the African decor, while we are actually in the city. There are shops and restaurants just around the corner, free parking is available and the electric gate is very convenient to get in and out of the place. The electric blanket and log fire were lovely (we went in the winter, cold at night). We will definitely stay there again next time we go to Johannesburg.

Wow we can’t say enough. Gorgeous lodge, the game drives were amazing- after chatting with other game drivers— it’s apparent that lovemoore is the BEST! Timothy the chef was amazing and the food was beyond expectations. All the staff were kind, and very attentive. you felt like you were at the Ritz. youd be silly if you didn’t book this place! 12/10 we will be back to rent the entire lodge with friends & family

Beautiful nature. Tent was great. Why go to Kruger when Dinokeng is so close by and so well run. Heard Lions at night which made the stay so much more worth it!

EVERYTHING absolutely beautiful place so peaceful... the staff were all amazing even coming to put the fire on for us. The place was spotless and Jan was such a joy. The game drive we took was wonderful and the game ranger on it(can't remember his name) was incredible, really answered all our questions explained everything we were seeing... we honestly didn't want to leave.

Situado en Magaliesburg, a sólo 44 km de la Cuna de la Humanidad, El Tranquil Mountain Cottage:Hikes/Boma/Animals/Pool ofrece alojamiento con vistas a la montaña, wifi gratis y estacionamiento privado... The host (Nungo)was so friendly and with a bubbly personality fit for the hospitality industry. She welcomed us with a great smile and kept it through the whole weekend. Her communication with us was frequent and detailed all the time. The place from the entrance is clean to the chalets....true meaning of cleanliness is next to Godliness, the place is spotless. Beautiful and well maintained garden which made it easy to take a splash in the pool, the temperature allowed it. The history that runs in that farm is well kept which was great for kids because they will always have a reference point to the farm. Morning hike was the best, reaching the top of the mountain and having a prayer moment was a great start to the lent season. Then we sealed it off with a braai watching the sunset, telling stories and singing at the boma. We are definitely coming back and will refer the place to our friends and relatives. Plus we owe the host a picnic....
