The house is clean, very well equipped with all you need and a lot more. We had a very comfortable stay. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub.

Sandra, Kiki and her family are wonderful people. They made sure we enjoyed our holiday with taking care of every little detail. The food was delicious, the view is splendid and the place so calm and perfect to relax.

El Boschfontein Mountain Lodge se encuentra en Ficksburg, en la región de Free State, y ofrece alojamiento con estacionamiento privado gratuito. I stayed at the Boschfontein Mountain lodge for one night, and once I saw the property I immediately regretted not booking a longer stay. Toni, the owner, was incredibly helpful and friendly, making the checking-in experience a breeze - this was made all the more remarkable given the fact that I made the booking last minute and she was not informed of my stay ahead of arrival. The lodge has everything one can possibly need for a comfortable stay, including an amazingly designed braai (bbq) in the center of the dining area, more than enough cutlery and seating space, and the owners' very friendly dogs to keep you company :). The bed was super comfy and everything was clean, neat and tidy. If my review ended here it would have already warranted a 5 star rating. However, the view from the property, of the Maluti mountains and the valley below, as well as the peace, quiet and serenity of the property are what really sets it apart from most places I have stayed at in that part of the world. This is mainly due to the fact that the lodge was built at the foot of the mountain that envelops the farm, and therefore provides an amazing vantage point from which to survey the scenery below. This also means it's quite easy to hike up the mountain for a 360 degree view of the wonderful Easter Free State landscape. I genuinely, and thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Boschfontein Mountain Lodge and can absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a few nights' rest in the area. PS; Just 1 thing to note: The road up to the lodge requires a car with a high clearance, otherwise Toni or Morgan will have to take guests up to the property in their Land Rover (which I'm sure is not a problem).

My family and I had an amazing time. the property was big enough to accommodate us all. it was clean and had everything we needed. The boathouse was just a cherry on top.

El Eco Karoo Mountain Lodge se encuentra en Luckhoff y ofrece pileta, salón compartido, zona de parrilla, vistas a la pileta y alojamiento con wifi gratis. Eco Karoo is literally in the middle of no where, and thats what makes it so great. As a city boy it is very refreshing to look out and not see another road, high rise or barbwire fence covered houses. This place will always be magical for me. This was our 2nd time and I think it will become tradition.

Excellent location, lovely place for a couple, Santi is an excellent host. A wide range of places to eat within walking distance. Very relaxing sitting on the stoop enjoying the scenery and birds in the garden.
