The hosts were fantastic! They shared local knowledge including excellent restaurants, beach locations, hikes, sunset options and surfing information. The breakfast was delicious and healthy and a wonderful opportunity to visit the other guests. The details in the design of the room, common areas and landscaping were lovely too. we would highly recommend this special spot!

Excellent location, remote while being close enough to amenities that getting supplies isn't an issue. The space allotted for the accommodation is plentiful, and distant enough from the other plots that you aren’t disturbed by others. The hosts were accessible, friendly, and informative. I would absolutely stay again if I'm in that region.

In addition, Helena and Alex took care of every detail personally, which makes Lemon Lodge much more than just accommodation. In fact, 11/10.

Cal Velho - Holiday Lodge er með sundlaugarútsýni og býður upp á gistirými með svölum, í um 20 km fjarlægð frá Sao Clemente-virkinu. I really needed to get away from the stress of work and modern society in general and boy did this property help me find that inner peace again. Cal Velho is really out in the middle of nowhere, with a terrace facing east that allows you to enjoy the magic sunrises in the best possible manner. The silence allows you to focus on yourself and the trails that fan out from the sides of the house allow you to discover the landscape along the rolling hills. The owner allowed me to check in quite earlier than usual, as she had had no guests from the previous day. This was highly appreciated, as it ensured none of my food got spoiled in the transfer from the previous location. Thanks for the help with this detail!
