This was the second time we stayed with Vanessa&Dick and we again really enjoyed it. By now they are offering yoga lessons depending on demand and that was a great start to the day prior to enjoying the great breakfast. Highly recommend staying at Birds of Paradise.

We all have expectations about a place when we book. Some are a pleasant surprise & some not so. I had high expectations for Lemon Lodge but they were exceeded upon arrival so that was a pleasant surprise!! it’s so unbelievably peaceful & relaxing lying in the hammock listening to the silence. the house was comfortable & beautifully furnished & appointed with lovely details like olive oil salt pepper & herbs in the kitchen - oh and fresh eggs too! the owners have put a lot of love & effort into restoring two beautiful places to stay. Their welcome is warm & they are helpful & friendly but leave you in peace. we loved walking around the property & visits from the dogs. if you love being in a natural peaceful environment you will love it.

Basseinivaatega Cal Velho - Holiday Lodge pakub rõduga majutust Sao Clemente kindlusest umbes 20 km kaugusel. I really needed to get away from the stress of work and modern society in general and boy did this property help me find that inner peace again. Cal Velho is really out in the middle of nowhere, with a terrace facing east that allows you to enjoy the magic sunrises in the best possible manner. The silence allows you to focus on yourself and the trails that fan out from the sides of the house allow you to discover the landscape along the rolling hills. The owner allowed me to check in quite earlier than usual, as she had had no guests from the previous day. This was highly appreciated, as it ensured none of my food got spoiled in the transfer from the previous location. Thanks for the help with this detail!
