Ying Yang Monte da Lua ligger i Comporta, 33 km fra Santiago do Cacém Municipal Museum og 34 km fra Santiago do Cacém Slot. Ying Yang is ideally located between Comporta and Melides and easily accessible by car. The place is very peaceful, situated in a pine trees forest. We stayed in two different rooms and we liked both a lot. They're beautifully decorated in an eclectic but consistent fashion, the chalets themselves are very nicely crafted and they're very well equipped: air conditioning, kitchen with some electric devices like juice extractor, bathroom with plenty of hot water. The wifi is remarkably fast given that you're in the middle of the forest, a quick speed test gave me 20Mb up / 10Mb down which proved large enough to remote work there. We were really seduced by the attention the owners are giving to details: António was in constant contact with us, explaining the location of the place and how to get to the chalet; when we got there during the evening, lights in the room were on to help us find the way, AC was on, welcoming us with a warm temperature. António is very friendly and he gave us a couple of good addresses to visit and eat nearby.

Nômade ligger 5 km fra Melides og har udendørs naturlig swimmingpool. Denne hytte har lejligheder med egen terrasse og pooludsigt. One of the nicest staff we ever encountered! A perfectly managed, clean and beautiful hotel. Quiet at night but lots of beautiful beaches in easy reach. Also the other guest all behaved very respectfully. We will come again!

I really needed to get away from the stress of work and modern society in general and boy did this property help me find that inner peace again. Cal Velho is really out in the middle of nowhere, with a terrace facing east that allows you to enjoy the magic sunrises in the best possible manner. The silence allows you to focus on yourself and the trails that fan out from the sides of the house allow you to discover the landscape along the rolling hills. The owner allowed me to check in quite earlier than usual, as she had had no guests from the previous day. This was highly appreciated, as it ensured none of my food got spoiled in the transfer from the previous location. Thanks for the help with this detail!
