Amazing place right at Tambopata river. The hosts - Emanuel and Maricela, the kids and the parrot Antonia 🙂, are the best possible hosts. Always smiling, helpful, paying attention to every small detail. Emanuel cooked for us and the food was fresh from their farm. He also organized all our tours in the jungle. The huts at the river are very cute, with terraces, bathrooms, comfortable beds from which you have a direct view to the river day and night. Every day the hosts were cleaning. Casa Amazonas býður upp á veitingastað og gistirými í Puerto Maldonado. Sumar gistieiningarnar eru með verönd og/eða svalir með garðútsýni. Gestir smáhýsisins geta nýtt sér heitan pott. Casa Amazonas is beautifully designed and decorated, has delicious food, professional yoga teaching and facilities and Vanessa and her staff are so welcoming and inspirational. The property is located on the Tambopata river surrounded by pristine jungle and native animals. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Hacienda Herrera Tambopata í Puerto Maldonado býður upp á gistirými, garð, verönd og garðútsýni. Boðið er upp á ókeypis akstur til og frá flugvellinum eða rútustöðinni. I loved my stay at Hacienda herrera tampotapa, Kunny and Ruth are lovely. The room is very good and the decor is breathtaking. It is a welcoming place both for its very open and kind staff and for the jungle landscape that cuts you off from the noise of the city. What more can I say except that the food is delicious!!! I can only advise you to go and spend a few days there!!

Ecoamazonia Lodge býður upp á garð og gistirými í Puerto Maldonado Jungle í Perú. Allar máltíðir eru innifaldar í verðinu. Allar gistieiningarnar eru með setusvæði. Beautiful property in the middle of the jungle. We looked at several other lodges but picked this one for it's more modern amenities. This is an all inclusive lodge. Rooms are screened in (not all lodges are) with 5500 acres to themselves. The cost includes daily excursions around the many trails that they created for the guests leisure. The trails take you in to the depth of the jungle while experiencing the beauty that it offers - monkeys, birds, tarantulas, snakes etc. Guilds were extremely knowledgeable and kind. always on the lookout for things to see. Things to consider - bug spray - the local ones work better than the US ones that we brought. Clothing - while hiking - long airy pants and quick dry long (or short) shirts will make your hike more enjoyable. I brought 2 but I wish I had 4-5. Best room is called "Tarzan". We stayed in "Tucan" which was OK but close to other visitors. Hard to describe but you can hear anyone in proximity to your room since it is all screened in. Staff was SUPER hard working. They were on their feet from 4 am to 10 pm daily. I have to tip my hand to these folks, simply incredible! 10 thumbs up for the staff

The total package is a wonderful experience. From the long-boat journey to the field excursions, all well run. The accommodation is superb when you consider where it is in a jungle setting. A quality experience. The staff are superb and the facilities well maintained in a very hot, wet and humid setting. Its the little things like gum boots and well placed umbrellas that make for a well thoughtout experience. Then you add on the wildlife which is everywhere!!

Inkaterra Hacienda Concepcion er staðsett í Puerto Maldonado og er umkringt gróskumiklum suðrænum regnskógi og er aðgengilegur á Madre de Dios-árfarveginum frá höfninni Puerto Maldonado. The hotel is very well run and beautiful. I know it’s not truly in the real jungle but it gave us a good taste of it with a nice level of comfort. They planned the excursions for us and timed it very well. We didn’t feel rush or exhausted. All the guides were very knowledgeable and spotted many wildlife during our excursions. We saw capybaras, caymans, river otters, many types of birds and red howler monkeys!! The food was also amazing, three courses every meal! Lastly, all the staff were very friendly and professionally! It was an amazing experience!

Wasai Tambopata Lodge er staðsett í hjarta Tambopata Candamo-friðlandsins og býður gestum upp á Amazon Expeditions og ókeypis WiFi. Einnig er hægt að skipuleggja veiðiferðir á svæðinu. Wasai Lodge completely exceeded our expectations on every level. The staff were so kind and friendly, the rooms were fabulous right on the river with very comfortable beds. Food was amazing with a huge amount of variety. Our guide, Efrain, was so knowledgeable, engaging, funny and made our trip even more fantastic - he was born to be an Amazon tour guide!! Clem who runs the lodge was so friendly and helpful throughout our stay and was always on hand to answer questions. We felt very safe during our stay. This is an amazing lodge and would highly recommend it!

La Habana Conservation Area er staðsett í Puerto Maldonado og býður upp á gistirými með svölum. Það er með fullbúið sérbaðherbergi með sturtu og ókeypis snyrtivörum. Very appreciated 2 days into the Jungle ! Very quiet, staff is very sympathic especially the 2 youngs ! Many thanks for all !
