Breakfast hamper ordered was ideal with adequate food enabling us to not stress about Acquiring food so early in our stay. Location was to die for being able to observe a working vineyard from comfort of the Cottage.

This is an outstanding luxury property, one of the best in the country. The staff provide the highest level of service, the breakfast and evening canapés/drinks are excellent and the evening dinner superb (extra cost but worth it). However the best part comes from the views from the terrace and pool as well as from the large well appointed room and the large jacuzzi. It is expensive but stay here if you can.

O Waiheke Island Tawa Lodge oferece acomodações a apenas 300 metros da Praia Little Oneora e a 1 km da vila de Oneroa. Lovely lodge, with beautiful view. We really enjoyed our stay, everything was great. Feels like a paradise away from busy Auckland, very calm and relaxing. We enjoyed our breakfasts on the terrace overlooking the ocean. There is also a little kitchen and outside grill if you want to cook own food. The beach (Little Oneroa) is only 5 min walk down the hill, while the Oneroa town (where you can find bars, restaurants, Four Suqare…) in 15 min walk from the lodge. The bus connections on the island are very good, there are several buses that will take you to the ferry terminal (10 min drive).
