Gems is a wonderful location that is rig by at the start of 90 mile beach. The beach is expansive and the appearance of wild horses made it special. This accommodation is superb in every way, very spacious, lovely furniture, comfortable bed, good bathroom and fabulous view. Well maintained outside area, with deck, table and chairs etc, free on-site parking and excellent WiFi. It is very close to the estuary, the ocean beach and close to the local Mangawhai Heads shops and restaurants. Would highly recommend and look forward to staying again.

Guesthouse with a great vibe, comfortable rooms clean and plenty of shared facilities. Location right across from the beach is excellent including a side beach view from our room with a bonus when you see the Ahipara horses graze right outside of our window.

Easy access, and even though on the highway, it was quiet. Quick check-in. Shared laundry, but we arrived just in time to get a load done. Our apartment actually looked better than the photos, the kitchen was functional with enough equipment to make a little dinner. We had a spa bath, which we didn't have time to use, but loved that towel warmer. We found a classical music station on the TV! It's nice they provide real milk for your coffee or for hot chocolate with your cookies.

Just 450 metres from Kororareka Bay, Bellrock Lodge offers studios with a private balcony and lovely bay and town views. The owners Catherine and Stewart were the perfect hosts! They had a great balance between privacy and sharing important information about where to go.
