They helped us organize the safari which was a wonderful experience. It is excellent. The hotel is beautifully designed. Freedom at its best. Super good value for money!

Absolutely everything was amazing! Clean and big room, the owner was very nice, showed our his beautiful garden. He arranged a safari for us at a very favorable price, he gave us biscuits, water and a banana for the safari journey. The dinner and breakfast was really big and good. After our stay he took us to Ella and bought us a coconut.

We hardly ever score 10 out of 10, but these owners were (it has been mentioned before) very lovely, attentive and great fun to talk to. And then we didn't even mention the great cooking they did and the chance we had to join them in the kitchen! We were unlucky to only have one night. Besides from this, the spacious room and facilities are in a great shape: good shower, good airco, nice beds, a great balcony with (yes, there is only place for one ... 😉) very comfy chair! And the location, in the middle of their own piece of jungle .. Just lovely! We forgot something when we left, but they immediately called and he even brought it with his motorcycle to the car we were in ... All the service. So very much recommended. They have only two rooms, so you are lucky if you can book here.

Peacock Riverside Eco Lodge asub Udawalawe rahvuspargist 12 km kaugusel. Kohapeal on aed, restoran ja toateenindus. Mõnel majutusruumil on jõevaatega terrass ja/või rõdu. We stayed 2 nights in this village jungle oasis among coconut trees, at this super friendly family. Great location, a bit off the beaten path but very comfortable, great huge bed, no mosquitos. Super shower! Our hosts cooked great food for us, we got the best breakfast during our 3week stay in Sri Lanka. We also went on a super full day safari with Sujee, was a highlight of our trip, saw many elephants!

He made sure that all of the food was suitable for the 5 year old. He also arranged our Safari, which was great as well! We really like the "tents" - which were actually little houses, everything was super clean, and even though it was 35° outside during the day, we did not even need the AC during the night, as the tents are in between trees. We also like the access to the river for a swim in the morning, We definitely recommend to stay there!
