Arawe is a newly renovated 150-year old nature cottage located around 400m from the centre of Ella. The staff is excellent. Accomadation is clean and looks great.

Featuring a garden and free WiFi, Arana Sri Lanka Eco Lodge and Yoga Center is situated in Ella, 3 km from Demodara Nine Arch Bridge. The whole experience was really amazing. Before we arrived, we were contacted so that we could be picked up from Ella train station, with clear instructions. We were also running a bit late and could pre-order from their restaurant. When we got there, the whole team of staff were so friendly and kind, helping us with luggage, letting us know what we could do and arranging transport. They work with particular tuk tuk drivers that they feel offer good service and that they trust. The meals were delicious, in particular the breakfasts. The room that we got was spacious and had all the facilities that we needed. There were plenty aircon so we weren't too hot. It is in the middle of nature so there can be some tiny insects about- but we loved that. All in all a really wonderful time and I couldn't recommend enough.

Spectacular views, kind and attentive hosts and the best Sri Lankan breakfast we’ve had so far (and we’ve had some amazing breakfasts). Spice Lodge is near Little Adams Peak and the Nine Arch Bridge and that was the main reason we chose it at first but would love to come back. The fireflies at night were magical!

The hosts were so friendly and welcoming, going out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. It is a stunning location, situated in the forest, with amazing views of Ella Rock and the surrounding area. The room was large and comfortable, with stunning views to wake up to. Our host Anjelo was so sweet, helpful and attentive. My boyfriend had an infection in his foot, and Anjelo boiled hot water for him every morning, so he could clean his wounds. The lodge itself is pure magic, situated within walking distance from Ella, but in a very quiet area where all you hear is exotic birds, frogs and squirrels. You also see light bugs! It’s like living in the middle of the jungle. Anjelo lights incense every morning, so there is always this amazing, spiritual smell. Thank you Anjelo for a wonderful stay! We will be back :-)

Stuff amazing, they offering free pick up and drop off for check in and check out. Owners will do everything for you to make your holidays easy and smooth! We asked for tuk tuk for round trip, they found best price for us, we asked about taxi to Yala - they found the best price for us. Anything we need they helped with! And you are in the middle of forest, no rush, just trees, monkeys and few other animals. Really nice stay we enjoyed and would recommend to everybody. Thank you again for everything you did for us.

It's a sight that truly takes your breath away and sets the tone for a relaxing stay. Ayubo Ella boasts three fantastic rooms, each uniquely decorated and exuding a warm and inviting ambiance. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the personal touch of the hotel owner, Wajira. He goes above and beyond to ensure that guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. His dedication to hospitality is evident in every aspect of the property. One of the highlights of my stay was the proximity to Ella's main attractions. Ayubo Ella is conveniently located just 1.2 kilometers away from the heart of Ella, and it's within walking distance of the train station. A leisurely 20-minute walk through the picturesque surroundings is all it takes to reach the town center, making it incredibly convenient for travelers. The staff at Ayubo Ella are some of the friendliest and most accommodating individuals I've encountered. They were always ready to assist with a warm smile and helpful recommendations. The super breakfast they served each morning was not only delicious but also a perfect start to my day of exploration. Additionally, the dinner options were equally delectable and showcased the culinary expertise of the kitchen.
