Staff are exceptional and really try to make the trip enjoyable. English is limited but hospitality is abundant. Pool is a nice touch after a long and hot day. Small 15x5m pool but enough. Staff cooked meals are tasty and reasonably priced. Given the remoteness of the chalet, you pretty much have no choice but to eat there as nothing else available within walking distance (in fact nothing exists within walking distance) The rooms are stacked on 3 levels in bungalow type structures. Very clean, spacious and comfortable. Some small bugs will inevitably get in however due to the tropical surroundings of the accommodation. You can hear plenty of wildlife around in the evenings which is nice, sort of like living on safari e.g., monkeys, birds, insects. Showers are outdoor ensures enclosed by a roof. They're comfortable and clean though hot water lasts around 5mins or so.

Mir, vrt, odličen zajtrk (Udika in njegova družina so se vsak dan potrudili in nam predstavili drugačne jedi). Udika nam je celo priskrbel odličnega voznika Wickya,ki nas je prevažal 3 dni po Šrilanki,2x pa nas je Udika tudi vozil s svojim tuk tukom,da nismo ponoči lutali sami po cesti.

Set amidst a natural landscape, Back of Beyond – Pidurangala offers a peaceful getaway in Sigiriya. A night in a tree house was exceptional! Staff was so friendly and helpful. Walking distance to Pidurangala rock. Offered a night walk to view the Loris. Restaurant was lovely and food was fresh and delicious.

The lodge had a beautiful and peaceful garden filled with trees, creating a serene atmosphere. The kitchen was well-equipped with all the necessary tools and appliances, including pots, pans, a gas cooker, fridge, and washing machine. The rooms were also nicely arranged and had everything we needed. The bathroom was well-maintained and clean. Overall, it was the best stay we've ever had.

I give a 10 not for the accommodation, which was really simple, but for the real and raw experience of living a couple of days together with Niro, Umanga and their family. We saw the beautiful sides as their hospitality, the stunning nature, good organic food. But we also saw the struggle and need for financial support as they lost their original land (some photos are still from the old land) and termites are breaking their home. They have good intentions, trying not only to help themselves, but having worked together with the school in the village and helped people build their homes. Right now they need help on their own home. So if you'd like to get to know them and support them, come and check out their place.

Nastanitev Jungle Edge Home Sigiriya je 1,8 km od znamenitosti razgledna točka Pidurangala Rock in nudi vrt, teraso ter 24-urno recepcijo. · This is a great small hotel, spacious, clean, beautiful and welcoming. We slept hearing the sounds of the jungle and woke up in a little tropical paradise. Location is great too,highly recommend

This was one of our best places we stayed in Sri Lanka! The host -amazing, smiling, helpful person. The best breakfasts we had in Sri Lanka. We loved the place - it was in the jungle so we heard a lot of birds, not cars. The place was really really CLEAN. We really regret we could not stay longer there.
