We loved the combination of nature with a touch of elegance and exclusivity. Waking up in the middle of mangroves and palmtrees, hearing the sound of the ocean was just the perfect start for our Sri Lanka trip. Food and drinks were delicious!

Il Manthally Cabanas offre capanne artigianali uniche in un ambiente della giungla, a soli 2,4 km dall'entroterra e a 3,2 km dalla spiaggia di Hikkaduwa. We had a wonderful two nights stay in the cabanas. The guys that work here are wonderful - friendly, helpful and always keeping the territory clean and cosy. The room was clean and the wood makes everything look beautiful. Our room was without A/C but with a ceiling fan. Next time we would choose a room with A/C. Breakfast was very generous, local and super delicious. We did not managed to eat everything that was prepared for us. Guys cook amazingly! The distance to the city did not caused any problem. Tuk-tuk to the city costs ~1€ or so and the staff dropped us there couple of times for free. It was nice to leave all the noise there and get back to our jungle for night's sleep. We also got a chance to check-in earlier, thanks for that!

Impeccable service, from the warm welcome at the entrance to the attentive staff throughout our stay. Every detail was carefully considered, making it a truly unforgettable experience. The room was nice, had a nice comfortable sleep. The attention to cleanliness and comfort exceeded my expectations. Waking up to the sounds of birds was an added luxury you get here with natural surroundings. the unobstructed mountain view from my room was a perfect setting for a relaxing and rejuvenating getaway.

Featuring pool views, Samalanka Boutique Hotel in Habaraduwa features accommodation, a garden, a shared lounge, a terrace, a restaurant and a bar. We initially planned a 4-day stay at Samalanka Boutique Hotel, but the captivating allure of this place made leaving impossible, extending our retreat to a full week. Located in a breathtaking locale, the warm hospitality from the staff, Malin (the manager), Sudeera and Sarath, made our experience exceptional. Malin treated us to a nutritious breakfasts featuring fresh fruits, omelet, bread, and spreads. The standout was the exceptional coffee, arguably the best we've had in Sri Lanka. Although the hotel doesn't have a restaurant, Pink Elephant in Unawatuna delivers meals promptly at reasonable prices. The option to use the kitchen for personal cooking is also available. Situated approximately three kilometers from Habaraduwa, the hotel provides easy access to essentials like Cargills, restaurants, and the beach. We opted for scooters from Easy Bike, but the staff is more than willing to arrange tuktuks for convenient transportation. For those seeking a relaxing escape in the South Province of Sri Lanka, we wholeheartedly recommend Samalanka Boutique Hotel!

Set in Unawatuna, 1.2 km from Bonavista Beach, Sky View Cabin Unawatuna offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and barbecue facilities. Such a cute accommodation. The cabin is spacious and fully equipped. We loved waking up with the sun on our faces, to relax on the balcony hidden between the leaves and the quietness. The host was very friendly, made a delicious breakfast and even provided a breakfast to go on the day of the check out.

Set in Ahangama, Dream Forest Rest offers accommodation with a terrace or a balcony, free WiFi and flat-screen TV, as well as a garden and a shared lounge. Absolutely amazing people. Ive stayed couple of days and then came back during the same trip before leaving the Island. Kindness above the ceiling. Very warm and welcoming people! Samitha even showed me a lots of places around! If you planning a trip to the South or around this area definitely stop by for some days. If you travel by yourself you can play with Dixie (6y old golden retriever) and you will forget all the worries. Very comfy, spacious rooms with a Nice view of nature. Sooo much nature around. I recommend to rent a scooter in Ahangama as it is 15 minute drive from the beach side. They can cook at home anything you would like to try (even Chinese food) and it is better than any restaurant Ive tried in Sri Lanka so far! Nothing else I can say just Thank you, thank you & thank you!
