Cottage very large. huge partially outside bathroom. staff very helpful. they organised massage at R12,000 for two hours. R300 tuk tuk from train station or walkable 20 mins to town. delicious dinners delivered. cold beers. laundry brought back the next day. bakery across the road. in all highly recommended. I’d give it a 11/10!!

We loved the combination of nature with a touch of elegance and exclusivity. Waking up in the middle of mangroves and palmtrees, hearing the sound of the ocean was just the perfect start for our Sri Lanka trip. Food and drinks were delicious!

El Manthally Cabanas ofrece cabañas únicas hechas a mano en un entorno Jungle, a solo 2,4 km de la hermosa playa de Narigama y a 3,2 km de la playa de Hikkaduwa. We had a wonderful two nights stay in the cabanas. The guys that work here are wonderful - friendly, helpful and always keeping the territory clean and cosy. The room was clean and the wood makes everything look beautiful. Our room was without A/C but with a ceiling fan. Next time we would choose a room with A/C. Breakfast was very generous, local and super delicious. We did not managed to eat everything that was prepared for us. Guys cook amazingly! The distance to the city did not caused any problem. Tuk-tuk to the city costs ~1€ or so and the staff dropped us there couple of times for free. It was nice to leave all the noise there and get back to our jungle for night's sleep. We also got a chance to check-in earlier, thanks for that!

The room was nice, had a nice comfortable sleep. The attention to cleanliness and comfort exceeded my expectations. Waking up to the sounds of birds was an added luxury you get here with natural surroundings. the unobstructed mountain view from my room was a perfect setting for a relaxing and rejuvenating getaway.

The highlight of our stay was undeniably our incredible host, who spared no effort in ensuring our comfort and satisfaction. From delicious lunches and dinners to delightful surprises and the most mouth-watering fish barbecue - probably the best meal I have had in the two months I have been in Sri Lanka. Beyond the culinary delights, our room was a sanctuary of comfort and style. Immaculately clean, equipped with a kitchen containing everything one could possibly need, and beautifully built and decorated. Originally intending to stay for four nights, we found ourselves captivated by the charm of Charming Dark Lodge, extending our stay to twelve nights. Departing was bittersweet, as we had grown attached to the unparalleled hospitality and the tranquil ambiance of our temporary home. A particularly memorable moment was celebrating my birthday during our stay. Our host went above and beyond to ensure it was an unforgettable occasion, adding a personal touch that truly made me feel special. Without a doubt, if I ever find myself in Sri Lanka again, Charming Dark Lodge will be my first choice for accommodation. We initially planned a 4-day stay at Samalanka Boutique Hotel, but the captivating allure of this place made leaving impossible, extending our retreat to a full week. Located in a breathtaking locale, the warm hospitality from the staff, Malin (the manager), Sudeera and Sarath, made our experience exceptional. Malin treated us to a nutritious breakfasts featuring fresh fruits, omelet, bread, and spreads. The standout was the exceptional coffee, arguably the best we've had in Sri Lanka. Although the hotel doesn't have a restaurant, Pink Elephant in Unawatuna delivers meals promptly at reasonable prices. The option to use the kitchen for personal cooking is also available. Situated approximately three kilometers from Habaraduwa, the hotel provides easy access to essentials like Cargills, restaurants, and the beach. We opted for scooters from Easy Bike, but the staff is more than willing to arrange tuktuks for convenient transportation. For those seeking a relaxing escape in the South Province of Sri Lanka, we wholeheartedly recommend Samalanka Boutique Hotel!

El Sky View Cabin Unawatuna se encuentra en Unawatuna, a 1,2 km de la playa de Bonavista, y ofrece alojamiento con salón compartido, estacionamiento privado gratuito y zona de parrilla. La limpieza, que es un lugar acogedor y el detalle de proporcionar cepillo, pasta de dientes y te en la habitacion. El dueño nos recibio con un coco (lo cual agradecimos mucho) y siempre con una sonrisa. Fue muy amable. Esta a un paseo de la playa pero en buena zona, cerca de la calle principal. El desayuno estaba rico.

El Dream Forest Rest se encuentra en Ahangama y ofrece alojamiento con terraza. Todos los alojamientos cuentan con aire acondicionado y TV de pantalla plana. Este lodge sirve un desayuno continental. Gente amigable , el lugar esta muy bueno es bastante amplio, usamos el aire acondicionado y nos costó bastante barato 100 por ciento recomendado a solo 5 min en moto de ahangama
