The host's excellent English and helpful assistance, from arranging transportation to providing valuable tips, made our stay truly memorable. I highly recommend this hotel for a delightful experience.

Tea Hills Bungalow ligger i Hatton. Der tilbydes gratis wi-fi på chaletens fællesområder. Samtlige ferieboliger har ventilator, fladskærms-tv med kabelkanaler, opholdsområde med sofa samt skrivebord. Hotellet blev drevet af en familie og de gør stedet til en god oplevelse. Deres lokale Sri Lankanske køkken specialiteter var en stor oplevelse.

The personalized service was beyond expectations. No request went unattended. Butler cum helper Rukshan was so friendly and cooperative. Always with a smile. Always on call. Food preparation was good. Needs some tuning there. They will come of age with some experience. They have their own vegetable plots in the premises. The manager cum part owner kaveesha and his friend akila were super nice and accommodating. They organized excursions to all the waterfalls in the area in a safari jeep. It, of course involved lots of trekking and climbing . The cabana style unit was cozy and ideal for a friend/family get-together. It was a home away from home . Super relaxing atmosphere.waking up to bird sounds was lovely. Cool weather. Feb/ March is the best time to go as it is dry. Rain season will dampen the experience.

The hosts were exceptionally warm and friendly and accommodative. Responded to appeals promptly. Property was very clean, and the atmosphere pleasant for a holiday. The bedding and sofas were comfortable, and all necessities attended to. Privacy was ensured. Parking facility for a van was appreciated.

Serene, silent stay in the forest. Good hosts. Helped us cook food for our children. Large house for a large family. Eight people can easily stay in a two storied house. Parking is limited for one car.

Hill Safari - Tea Estate Villa ligger i Ohiya, omgivet af bjergene i Horton Plains Range. Der serveres primært srilankanske retter på Hill Safari - Tea Estate Villa. We are a Belgian family (father and 2 adult children) travelling through Sri Lanka in summer 2023. Looking for a hotel at walking distance from the Horton Plains National Park we ended up in the Hill Safari Tea Estate Hotel. At the Ohiya train station (approx. 5 km from the hotel) we were picked up by the owner, Mr Perera, who was very welcoming and knowledgeable about the site. The hotel, located in a tea plantation, has a fantastic view on the Sri Lankan lowlands (comparable to that at World’s End). Just note that the hotel is quite remotely located and therefore food is taken on site (food is excellent!). We organized a trip to the Horton Plains, going (early morning) by tuktuk and returning by foot (watch out for sunburn on the way back!). We can only be (very) positive about the hotel, the owners, and the staff.

Room was spacious and beautiful. It had all the facilities we wanted and exceeded our expectations. The view from the balcony was amazing, it was a unique experience . Kind, friendly and really helpful staff. Highly recommend.
