Since the moment I arrived, the owner Gudrun received me with open arms and gave me a map right away with places to visit around Snaefellsnes! She was very sweet and caring! The cabin was absolutely wonderful, equipped with everything you need to have a pleasant stay. The dinner both night was absolutely INCREDIBLE! The lamb and the pasta were SOOOOO GOOD! Worth it every penny! The breakfast was also wonderful. Gudrun really cares about her visitors, and you can truly tell by the way she helps and is always available, plus she’s a wonderful cook! As a solo traveler, it truly made me feel like home, which honestly, was the best! I’ve been in Iceland for 2 weeks now and have stayed at 10 different places, this one has been BY FAR! The best! What a wonderful stay!

Set in Stykkishólmur in the West Iceland region, Klöpp Lodge - Snæfellsnes Peninsula offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. The property has sea and mountain views. This house was perfect! The setting is so peaceful and quiet. A great location for exploring the peninsula. It is well equipped with everything you need to prepare meals, and relax. It was our mid-week stop so being able to do some laundry was a bonus.

Very nice and cozy cotttage, enough room for the 7 of us. Hosts were super nice and very responsive to all questions. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Mulakot Cosy Cabins features garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Borgarnes. After the long drive on the gravel road late in the afternoon, it was very comforting when we stepped into our cabin. It was warm and inviting, filled with little touches here and there that really make it feel like a home away from home Although it seems out of the way, after the 1st time, all the other times driving in don't seems so bad The cabin was beautifully decorated, has everything we need to cook our meals, big windows with views of the fields. We were at the tail end of our ring road trip and stayed for 2 nights. With all the various type of apartments/cabins we stayed, this was one of our favourite

Boasting a garden, The Little House offers accommodation in Bolungarvík with free WiFi and sea views. Excellent communication with owner/staff. Absolutely exceeded our expectations. Cozy, comfortable setting overlooking the fjord. Would gladly stay here again (seriously, I almost don't want you to book this place, just so it's available to stay in the next time we're in Iceland, lol...)

Cabin 1 at Lundar Farm is set in Borgarnes. This lodge has a garden and free private parking. The nearest airport is Reykjavík Domestic Airport, 103 km from the lodge. As we were arriving on Christmas Day (no supermarkets or restaurants open), the owners were very helpful in recommending alternatives and even offered to get some basics in advance of our arrival. In the end, we brought food from abroad but the thought was really nice. The horses (got to pat after building some trust) and dogs are beautiful!
