Offering free bikes and garden view, Tiny Villa among the olives is set in Heraklio Town, 7.4 km from Heraklion Archaeological Museum and 12 km from The Palace of Knossos. The tiny villa is super cute! It is fully equipped (fridge, stove, oven, laundry, shower, bbq, bikes, and more). The location is a short (10 mins) walk down to the waterfront, and a quick drive to downtown Heraklion. Everything was perfect!

Situated 16 km from Venetian Walls, Dioni Stone House features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. It’s a very nicely decorated and clean property.

Villa Strata (a path to Psiloritis mountain) is located in Kardhamianá, 38 km from Heraklion Archaeological Museum, 41 km from The Palace of Knossos, and 23 km from Phaistos. Villa Strata was an amazing stay, super clean and fully equipped. We stayed there for one night and immediately fell in love with the place, the house, the village and the locals. Michalis was an excellent host, always available for help and recommendations and he made us feel at home. Can't wait to come back!

Offering a garden and garden view, flamingo colour valey house is located in Palekastron, 500 metres from Maridati Beach and less than 1 km from Kouremenos Beach. Amazing stay and fantastic location! Costas is a very warm and helpful host. The house is located in an olive grove a few 100 meters from the calm beach of Maridati (and 1 min from the Maridatis restaurant) where you can go snorkeling as there are a lot of fish! The house is spacious and comfortable, it has a small terrace with a view of the surrounding. You will see nothing except the occasional sheep, rabbit or 'house' cat which we befriended. If you enjoy a quiet and totally relaxing stay, very close to an amazing and less known beach with few people and great swimming in cristal clear and calm waters, then don't hesitate. On top of that you have a taverna close by with amazing hosts (Eleni and Manolis) and great food. We will be back. Thank you, Costas, for the warm welcome and your kindness!

A recently renovated property, Mare suites 1 is situated in Chania Town near Koum Kapi Beach, Nea Chora Beach and Saint Anargyri Church. Loved everything about this place. I will definitely go again! Keypad entry allowed me to arrive on my schedule. Location is great and the view is spectacular. I was able to find street parking close without an issue but I could see how that might be a problem depending on the time of day or season. For reference, I stayed in late July.

Set in Episkopí- Rethimno, Mikro Livadi Special Lodges - Has an Eco Salt water pool - 150m from the beach offers a garden and sun terrace. Chania Town is 34 km away. Words can not describe! This is such a wonderful place. Everything about it is just exceptional. The room we had was huge and spacious with a fully equiped kitchen, a seperate bedroom, cosy living room and a huge shower area. There is also a very nice private sitting area around the room to start your morning in. The family who runs the place is so nice and welcoming, you immediately feel part of it. The natural salt water pool was nothing short of amazing and we spent a lot of time around the pool area. Located just 300m from the main road and the beach, location was great and easy to find, having a private parking space is a plus. The in-complex resturant serves home cooked food made intirly of stuff they grow on pramise or buy from local farmers. The food was very good and the prices are... just normal (cheap like the rest of Greece). The surrounding area is as beautiful and wild with some great views all around. We are definatly coming back next year!

Featuring sea views, Mourtzanakis Residence - Traditional Eco Hotel in Achlada in Achlada features accommodation, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden, a terrace and a restaurant. The views of the sea beyond the mountains, the quiet location, and the proximity to beautiful beaches made this stay ideal. We also appreciated the shared areas and the design of the Apartment. Marcos is a very friendly and attentive host. We would happily come again!

Set away from the hustle and bustle of city life and the usual tourist spots, it offers the perfect balance of seclusion and accessibility. The attractions and the sea are conveniently reachable, ensuring that you are not too isolated from the vibrant local life. The cottage itself, though compact, exudes a warm and inviting atmosphere, making it an exceptionally cozy place to live. Each morning and evening, I had the pleasure of dining outdoors in the garden, enjoying meals while gazing out at the rolling hills dotted with olive groves and the distant sea—pure bliss. The outdoor fire pit added a rustic touch to my evenings, perfect for grilling local produce under the starlit sky. One of the highlights was undoubtedly the alfresco cold-water shower, which provided a refreshing and almost ethereal experience under the moon's glow. The hosts were incredibly hospitable, eager to share their knowledge of the area and point out hidden gems that enhanced my visit.
