Thank you to the staff for all their help. Beautiful well maintained grounds. We saw more animals in the yard than in a national park. Lots of hummingbirds, a raccoon came between 10am and 11, and a family of Capuchin monkeys came every day around 2pm. It was a lot of fun to watch them.

Playa Negra Guesthouse is located in Cahuita, right in front of the beach. All units feature a seating area. Some units have a terrace and/or balcony with pool or garden views. Amazing property right in front of a gorgeous beach. We had an amazing time at Playa negra guesthouse, the hosts Pierre and Marise were incredibly welcoming and showed us so many animals around the property including a baby sloth! The pool was awesome and the room did the job perfectly. Couldn’t recommend them more.

Playa Grande Lodge & Tree House offers pet-friendly accommodation in Cahuita. Puerto Viejo is 16 km from the property. Free WiFi is available throughout. This is a solid choice in Cahuita. Alberto the host is a super friendly stand up guy who comes with homemade breakfast every morning and never hesitated to help out and give good advise. He even called the airline for us to talk to them in Spanish when our bag was lost. The houses are simple but clean and cosy. We saw sloths nearby, hummingbirds and butterflies in the garden and heard the howler monkeys all the time. Close to a nice beach that is good for walks in the mornings and also a great restaurant within walking distance.

Offering a year-round outdoor pool and tropical garden, La Rana De Cahuita is set 5 km away from the centre of Cahuita. Puerto Viejo is 18 km from the property. La Rana de Cahuita is a beautiful eco-lodge. The bungalows are very private and have everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a kitchenette, a private bathroom, and a porch with a hammock. The pool is a great place to cool off after a day of exploring, and the breakfast is delicious and includes fresh fruit from the garden, eggs, and coffee. The owners of La Rana de Cahuita are incredibly welcoming and helpful. They went out of their way to ensure we had a wonderful stay. The grounds are beautiful and well-maintained, with various tropical plants and animals. The location is excellent, close to the beach and the Cahuita National Park.

Surrounded by nature, Cahuita Lodge features apartments with a kitchen. The lodge is located in Cahuita across from Playa Negra and 1.3 km from Playa Blanca. Free WiFi access is available. Very helpful host who couldn't do enough for us. Whole apartment was nice . Hreat location beside national park and beach. Walking distance to shop and restaurants.

Cabinas Caribe Luna is located in Cahuita just 700 metres from Cahuita National Park and 300 metres from Playa Negra. Guests can enjoy the large garden filled with monkeys, frogs, and birds on site. Heard the Howler Monkeys while taking a shower! Enrica was very nice, location close to everything and especially close to the sea! Everything was beautiful… the room was perfect and very clean… highly recommend: )

I loved the place great value for the price, owners are great, pool clean and they have a 220 volts extention for EV cars like mine
