The hosts are wonderful. There are only two rooms and the other room was empty when we stayed there, so we had the whole place to ourselves. It was like living in a house in middle of forest. I especially loved the big outdoor kitchen. Amazing thing was that Wi-Fi was also quite good in the middle of forest. They also let us ride their horses for free. Breakfast was also amazing. Will definitely go back to stay here.

Yatama Rainforest Ecolodge is located at the middle elevations of the Costarican rainforest, known as Horquetas de Sarapiqui. This rural community is full of activities and lush tropical gardens. A beautiful and comfortable place truly in the heart of the forest. We only stayed one night but it was enough to feel like we had left our everyday lives far behind. Our room was beautiful with open views of the forest everywhere. Food was hearty and delicious. Our night walk with the staff who are passionate about conservation was an amazing experience. Among many other things, you will see many snakes and spiders, toucans and the endangered green macaw!

Extremely nice, spacious and modern villas, amazing views from the balcony and outside jacuzzi on top of that! crowd-free access early morning through the park and waterfalls as no outside visitors are allowed at that time.
