Situated 2.8 km from La Fortuna Waterfall, La Fortuna Natural Green offers a garden, a terrace and air-conditioned accommodation with a patio and free WiFi. The grounds that house the cabins are lush and tropical. Very well maintained! The cabin room was cute and met our needs. We felt very safe in this area. It’s a little out of town, on the road to the waterfall, so a car would be best. The staff was wonderful and so friendly! There’s a wonderful restaurant and a mini grocery store within a few minutes walk. Wonderful breakfast with three options!

Featuring mountain views, Onca Tours & Treehouses in San Rafael features accommodation, a garden, a terrace and a restaurant. There is a fully equipped private bathroom with shower and free... We have stayed in many different places in La fortuna area and for one day we stayed in the tree house in Rio celeste area(limit 100$ per day). We did not want leave. This stay was by far better for a similar price. More comfy bed, clean soft towels, tasty food, nice idea of being elevated while watching birds in trees.

Great service, amazing food with many ingredients grown at the same facilities (eggs, fish, coffee, etc.). Comfortable rooms and a feeling of contact with nature. I loved to fall asleep with the sound of the river at night.

Set in Fortuna in the Alajuela region and La Fortuna Waterfall reachable within 10 km, Chalets Silencio del Bosque offers accommodation with free WiFi, BBQ facilities, a garden and free private... The stuff was super friendly and prepared the best casado we had during our trip to costa rica (have to try the homemade chilie sauce). Also unexpectedly good was the included free frog spotting tour. Even though the chalets were rather tiny they felt spacious and were indeed very private. This is definitely no 5-Star Hotel but as best as eco-friendly individual tourism could get.

We stayed 2 nights at this place. We really enjoyed it, this place is amazing if you like staying in the peace and quiet nature. We are travelling with family (6 adults + 2 little children), and we were the only guests (there are only 4 rooms). The couple is very friendly, they know a lot about nature and are very enthusiast. The breakfast and dinner were very good, and they asked for our wishes. We did a nighttour with them, it was very interesting and we saw a lot of frogs. This was my favorite place of all places we stayed in costa rica, so I would really recommend it

Breathtaking views from the house and very well managed. The house was clean and has all the necessary things required for family. We had to cancel our sight seeing plans just to stay in the house and enjoy the vibe. Highly recommended.
