Fantastic hotel a short drive from El Zaino entrance to Tayrona Park (we also walked to the entrance one day which isn't too far but it is on a busy road). The rooms are great and have an incredible view of the mountains. We saw Squirrel Monkeys on our balcony while relaxing in the hammocks. The room also had its own jacuzzi/cold plunge pool. Really refreshing after a hot day hiking. The food from the restaurant was also great. The hotel also has two amazing dogs and an incredible cat!

José was incredibly accommodating and helpful, the views were insane, the bed extremely comfortable, and overall the room we stayed in was perfectly isolated and calm (couldn't even hear the road, but you could definitely hear the waves of the sea at night!). The breakfast was freshly prepared every morning and we were treated to local specialities such as cayeye! We would come back in a heartbeat! About the "trek" to get there, we'd say it was more along the lines of 10minutes, and we did it in flip-flops multiple times without a problem, so don't be intimidated by the description!

Offering a private beach area, Playa Pikua Ecolodge is a solar-powered property situated in Guachaca between two rivers and the Caribbean sea. The property is amazing!!! Beautiful beach and comfortable bungalows. The staff was very helpful and kind. Jefry is an excellent host, always keen to help. Big and delicious breakfast.
