You can watch the "babaleches" hop from tree to tree as you relax in the communal area and enjoy a home cooked meal. You really feel at peace with nature in Tucuchira.

It was exactly what I was looking for: isolated in the middle of the jungle. The landscaping and environment in general is perfect.

There were many birds, and occasional monkeys and other cool wildlife, passing through, which I enjoyed immensely. The restaurant on site was great for all meals of the day (breakfast was included, the restaurant was open to the public for lunch, and dinner could be requested), and the food was excellent. There were multiple nature reserves nearby, which were easy to walk to, as was Las Amazonas Balneario-Restaurant (swimming pool & restaurant).

The room was very big, clean and it had insect mesh in every opening (apart from the door, obviously). The staff as extremely helpfull, they provided us with local intel on restaurants and tours. They explained as well how was living in Leticia (peaceful, quiet and easy going). They even provided us with a room to stay after checking out to relax and get a shower in between tours, as we were staying a night out in the jungle. Breakfast was really tasty (juice, fruits, coffee and scrambled eggs with local pepper) and they provided us with fresh drinking water. It was a incredible stay furthermore when compared with neasrby alternatives.
