Super value for money! Owner/manager Gecko was so friendly and accommodating. Gave us lots of tips and was always ready to help us with whatever we needed. Nice pool, room was spacious enough. We were even allowed to pick fruits in the garden.. and eat as much as we liked, for free! :) Garden in the back was quite relaxing with hammocks and lots of chairs. Basic Vietnamese food selection at the restaurant but good and filling enough! Pretty cheap too!

Nádherné místo s čistým bazénem. Paní Linda, která má vše na starosti, zařídí, poradí, pomůže. Měli jsme představu o výletě do džungle a lodí, vše zařídila za přijatelnou cenu. Moped, který jsme si půjčili, byl v dobrém stavu a helmy také, což není samozřejmostí, jak jsme posléze zjistili. Překrásné bungalovy, pohodlné postele s kvalitním povlečením. Dobré snídaně i ostatní jídlo. Vesnička je moc pěkná, stojí za procházku. Pozor, kdybyste jeli růžovým busem do Cat Ba, najděte zastávku. Nás Linda vyzvedla mimo zastávku a zapomněla nás informovat. Autobusy, I když jsem mávala, nezastavily.

We loved Joystay. The cabins are lovely, the staff are kind and the location is perfect. A quieter area away from town, but right near a beach and a quick scooter ride to town. Highly recommend this place!

The Green Homestay is a very lovely and quit place. Everything was clean, the rooms and bed very were comfortable. Mr. Win was all time available for our needs and provided a very good service. If we ever come back to Cat Ba, it would definitely be this place again.

Yen is a little piece of paradise for families or friends who want to enjoy a calm and natural environnement. Its right in the middle of butterfly valley, where you can do trekking and rock climbing! The pool offers a perfect view, our kids couldnt get enough of it ! The owner will cook delicious food for you!! The rooms are brand new and really well equiped. Than you so much for the stay we loved it soooo much!! You will most likely need to rent scooter to get around if you stay a bit longer

For us the best thing about this accommodation was the family running it. Linda and her family are the sweetest, most amazing people ever. It doesnt feel like they are running a business, it feels like you are going to their home and that's how they treated us. We are traveling with our 1 year old baby, and we also got sick mid-way through our stay. We have felt so incredibly taken care of, and Linda went out of her way to help us with anything we may have needed. We are are really really thankful and appreciate everything so so much! We rented a bigger house 3 min walking from the main area, with the pool and the restaurant, and the yard we had was great!

Mr. Chilly and his staff were really helpfull. I wonder why there are no pictures of the rooms, because they are nice. We chose this instead of a cruise, and we didnt regred it one bit. We have three children, and instead of worrying about them on a ship, we took the oneday cruise that is offered at the frontdisk including kajak, swimming and visiting a fishfarm on the water. All in all we really can recommend this place for families as well as adults on their own.

Great value for money and good location. We were able to check-in very early and enjoy a breakfast upon arrival. It was very easy to rent a scooter from the hotel and have our laundry done within a few hours.
