Pascaline was so kind and friendly! She picked us up from the airport and made sure that we had everything that we needed. The room was beautiful, spacious, and private. It had a large outdoor space, private hot tub, laundry, a full kitchen, and filtered water. We were very comfortable here. Thank you for making our stay great!

Honestly it’s my best accommodation where I have been during my travel for last 13 years. Amazing, gorgeous, fantastic. Mimi and Daniel are absolutely marvellous and helpful. They helped me with the commute within island and they have the amazing place for staying. It’s specious, clean and if you love animals, there are dogs and cats- I love them. Thank you Mimi and Daniel for the fantastic memories! I felt there like in my family.

Super. the kindness of the owners and the help given to organize our stay. the lodge is located halfway between Vaitape and Matira so with a short taxi ride or a few minutes by bike you can reach all the useful destinations. the very spacious apartments with all possible services.

I liked everything about Sunset Hill Lodge! From the friendliness of the staff (Dolores and Gérard), to the excellent condition of everything in the unit (nothing broken, damaged, no duct tape or other temporary fixes), to the comfortable bed, linens, pillows, etc. It was all really well maintained and managed. Everything was clean and tidy. The appliances were relatively new (frost-free fridge/freezer, Bosch gas stove top) and worked great. Air conditioning worked great. Big windows with screens, which I preferred using overnight instead of the AC. Both Dolores and Gérard had helpful information about nearby stores, the public beach, etc. The view was lovely, and the location was walking distance from 2 grocery stores.

Host super friendly and helpful. Comfortable little house, very private. New fridge, new very large TV, washing machine available. Even though breakfast was not included, host had left jam, « biscottes », bottled water, coffee and tea etc and even pasta. Also basic cooking stuff like oil and salt and pepper. Hosts also rent scooters and bikes which is handy.

Location was amazing since our back yard was the ocean. Convenience store across the street was very helpful. The AC worked great and the full kitchen had everything you will need. The patio and it’s view of the mountains was awesome. The whole setup was clean everything was just comfortable. Tamati was always available for anything and of course Tama Uri (dog) was always on security patrol. Tamati had a rental car available that was way cheaper than AVIS. He made us feel like family the whole time.
