The hospitality was amazing and warm. The hosts hosted us with love and a homely feeling! We tasted all the homemade delicacies, all organic and fine! They built this whole amazing place themselves! Highly recommend to stay and enjoy. to feel at home! A little hard to get to, but worth it! The cabins are warm at night and the view from them is magical!

The location is phenomenal. Below the mountains. It's close to some amazing restaurants (Hotel Serdar, Nacionalni restoran Kozak). National park Biogradska gora is very close by car. The place was silent, clean, well equipped; the staff welcoming and approachable. We definitely recommend for a nice mountain getaway.

Everything! The location is wonderful, you climb a hill and drive on a small road (the last 2km guided by the wonderful host - we did it with a normal car which was a fine) and arrive at the cabins with a gorgeous view of the mountains and valley surrounded by raspberry bushes and wild flowers. Such a peaceful place! The cabin was spacious and clean, well equipped to cook etc. You can also get homemade dinner and breakfast (delivered at the door!), which was delicious. Comfortable bed. Would definitely recommend!

Excellent! You will find yourself as a priviliged guest in a family which lives pretty much the traditional life. The service, the food, the place itself is just what you would expect from an eco vilage and... a bit more, a bit better than expected. Just beware, you cannot drive all the way up unless you have a safari jeep, you’ll need to arrange a transfer from the lake.

Cute, comfortable cabin in the nicest nature setting. Quite, away from it all, yet super close, too. Andrea (the host) is amazing. She was a quick and good communicator, was helpful in helping me make my way to the cabin in the dark, have me great ideas for restaurants, and had a for going in the wood stove so I arrived to a toasty cozy room upon arrival. And she was super helpful even AFTER I left with finding things. And, the parking was right in front (sometimes hard to find traveling around Albania).

The view was amazing! The cabin is beautiful with a very well stocked kitchen, great beds, the sauna is amazing and easy to use, and the outside facilities were great too! My kids loved the outside play area, the porch and the chairs were really comfortable. And the fire pit was great! We also loved how close it was to the national park and the little markets, while still feeling private and away from the main parts of towns and busy roads.

The family that run Bungalov Scepanovic are so nice! They made us feel amazingly welcome and cooked us the most delicious breakfast! Thank you so much for looking after us and picking us us from the train station!

Katun is one of those places that stays in your heart...for the genuineness and the fantastic welcome of the family, the atmosphere and the amazing landscapes...you are completely immersed in nature! You have the opportunity to eat delicious dishes prepared with their products, sleep in comfortable rooms and take pleasant walks..recommended!
