The hosts are extremely kind and polite people, who can arrange a jeep safari in the Yala National Park if you need. With the delicious dinner in the garden was an unforgettable experience for me staying here and it was my favorite accomodation during our three weeks in Srí Lanka. (out of 8)

We had an amazing stay with the heartwarming family that is taking care of the eco village. We were welcomed very lovely by the host and her daughter. She served delicious Sri Lankan food and was always checking whether everything was fine. The property is really beautiful and gives the feeling of an authentic jungle stay. The huts are small but cosy and mosquito nets are already provided. Sadly we booked our safari tour beforehand but the hosts of the eco village also offer safari jeep tours so we would highly recommend to book it with them. The brother of the host was also very friendly and took care that we get to the bus station on time to catch our bus to Hiriketyia. In total we would really recommend to stay at this place and get the chance to live with locals.

I got a really lovely surprise because I had booked a dorm and since they had no others customer they upgraded me in the wooden house that I highly recommend. The owners are super lovely people, every night the people sit together at a firepit, playing drums or just listening to music with a very good lunch and some beers. The food is always top and as cheap as the local prices. great place to meet people. Also you will meet monkeys, dogs, chipmunks, birds, varans and many more. The love of detail in the gardens and the little huts is amazing. Would love to come again!
