The location with the view is stunning. It is a little away from the lake area, but this was perfect for us because we were going rock climbing walking distance from the cottages. You could order breakfast and dinner at the cottages in the small communal area, which was extremely convenient. The staff were welcoming and keen to share information about the local area, Balinese culture and also just generally have a nice chat. The cottage was basic but clean and the outdoor feel to the bathroom and shower was a nice touch. We decided to cut our stay short due to the weather in the area being terrible, but the owners were kind and understanding.

The hosts! They were so so so so so good. I loved staying here, like heaps. The hosts taught me so much about the area, and how special it is. I’m really grateful I stayed here instead of getting a ride from another city just to do the sunrise trek. The view from the room was insanely beautiful too.

The location was excellent with a beautiful view of the lake. The hosts were very helpful, even though we arrived late they organised for a guide, Norman, to meet us and take us up the mountain the next day. We could not have asked for a better guide, he was funny, energetic and kind. The accommodation exceeded our expectations, it was very clean and private and the food was good. The hot spring bath was an added bonus. We would definitely stay here again.
