The cabins were very cute and quaint in a quiet location off the beaten path. Karen was exceptional and super helpful with getting Transportation arranged to other locations and to activities in the area. She was able to comprehend my bad Spanish. I cannot even begin to explain how awesome our stay was at Cecropia. Jay and Noela are the most amazing people and the passion they have cannot be explained, only experienced. The night walk was out of this world and the knowledge that were shared will always be treasured. Noela makes the most amazing food and natural juices and everything about our stay was exceptional. Too bad we can only rate 10 and not 100. Absolutely, absolutely recommended for anyone.

Beautiful uninterrupted view of the Arenal volcano and valley. Quiet, rural setting with a few cabins nearby. The bedroom had double windows opening on to the patio. It was a good size with 2 comfortable queen beds and a put up bed for a child. Aircon was only in the bedroom, it was quiet and efficient. There was a large shower unit with lots of hot water. Cushioned seats and a table were on a covered patio which was large enough to use during a downpour. The settee in the living area was a good size. The kitchen has a full sized freestanding cooker with 4 rings , a microwave, rice steamer, and mini oven grill, coffee machine and kettle. Cooking utensils were limited to spoons/ slice and a knife. There were plenty of pans & a colander. The 11kg load washing machine was a bonus. Daniel was quick to respond, friendly and helpful. We were delighted when he introduced us to Freddy a local sloth at the end of the drive.

The staff was really friendly and helpfull. The room was perfect and the terrace was amazing with a fantastic view. The pool was nice and the area was so beautiful with all the nature and the birds. We absolutely loved it here and would definitely come back again!

Durant la nit se sent els cants dels animals, soroll de l'aigua... El passeig per la zona és molt autèntica i es veuen molts animals. El tour nocturn gratuït va estar molt bé.
