Looking for a capsule hotel?

Developed in Japan, these cheap 'pod' hotels are a novelty for any traveller. With rows of small single bed enclosed capsules, accommodation is basic and intended to be overnight. There is separate storage for luggage and gender-separate communal bathrooms — some capsule hotels also have a sentō, a Japanese bath house, often for male guests only.

At Hotel Bestur, I found the staff friendly and attentive. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The location was also convenient, with easy access to nearby beautiful attractions and amenities and Trams. Overall, I had a good stay at Hotel Bestur and would recommend it to anyone visiting the area given that It’s relatively cheaper as well.

Excellent!! The best hotel someone could choose for a short(or longer of course) stay in Istanbul! Amazing location(few steps away from the Hippodrome, Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern). As for the room, we got a free update, that is a room with view(hayat) on Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia, that was marvellous! Friendly staff, very good breakfast, very convenient transport service to the airport! Thank you very much! Best of the best! Teşekkür ederim!

It was pretty clean for such a budget accommodation. Beds were pretty comfortable. The location was more ghetto-like but there are a lot of cheap shops and restaurants around and people are quite friendly. Just five minutes to a nice embankment and a tram stop. The host was very nice and catered to all of our needs.

Highly recommneded to stay. The location is slightly away from main attarctions but taxis can take you there within £10-15. or public transport is super cheap. Staff is very friendly and available 24/7. Internet is great with great speed and availbility. Rooms are quite and literally proper sound proof. A+++ for whole stay and thanks to the managment and staff.

Very safe and convenient location nearby Istiklal street and Galata Tower, many options for food and shopping. The owner was very friendly and has great hospitality, tried to help me with anything when I asked. He called a taxi for me to the airport which is much cheaper than you call a cab by yourself. You can enjoy some very tasty Turkish tea at the reception. The ground floor is a jewellery shop so you can enjoy shopping as well.

This Hotel was really bad. I was many times in Turkey and first time I stayed in this way. Yes, the price for Istanbul cheap. But I stayed also in budget hotels was much better than this one. Two things was good: Hakan was really friendly and nice and housekeeping was nice, too. You are very close to everything.
