This was one of my favorite hostels I have ever stayed in globally. And I’ve been to over 80 countries. Even if I was being very picky, there are very few recommendations I would have. Overall a fantastic stay. what makes it outstanding is the manager on site. Incredibly professional, super friendly, always eager to make your stay a good one.

Looking for a capsule hotel?

Developed in Japan, these cheap 'pod' hotels are a novelty for any traveller. With rows of small single bed enclosed capsules, accommodation is basic and intended to be overnight. There is separate storage for luggage and gender-separate communal bathrooms — some capsule hotels also have a sentō, a Japanese bath house, often for male guests only.

The Space Q Capsule Hotel exceeded my expectations in both cleanliness and staff hospitality. The meticulous attention to cleanliness throughout the facility left a lasting impression, and the staff's friendly and efficient service added to the overall positive experience. Every penny spent on this accommodation felt entirely justified, making it a standout choice for those seeking both comfort and value.

So close to light rail, central station, amenities, entertainment, shopping. Very clean facility. Everything you could need for somewhere cheap to sleep. Super easy checkin and checkout process. Instructions everywhere for how to work your capsule. Storage locker for a backpack and carry bag. Secure pod where you can put other items that might not fit in the locker. Pleanty of space for your luggage as well. Didnt use the showers or communal areas, but looked decent at a glance. The toilet cubicles were very tight.

Location Room size Cant really see why it has bad reveiws unless your expecting champagne on a beer budget so to speak. Room was ready at 2pm check in,was nice and clean and had everyhing needed. Yes the building and its fittings are little old but the rate is barely above what some backpacker and capsule hotels charge and you dont have to wear thongs in the shower so whats not to like? Ill be back on my next stay.

The capsule itself was pretty good. I also liked the elevator. The location and price were great. I stayed because I needed to catch an early train to my actually holiday destination, so a cheap spot 300 meters from central station was exactly what I needed. I also like the privacy that capsules give which you don't get in traditional hostels just have bunk beds.
