Housed in a building dating from 2001, this campground is 30 km from Melkhoutkraal Railway Station and 30 km from Assegaaibos Railway Station. The wolves are the stars of the show, but Robin, Francette,Kay and the entire staff are wonderful! My son thinks Panda the cat is the true star and had a hard time saying goodbye to him. The rooms and beds are comfortable, the shared bathroom makes this “camp out” feel luxurious — like Glamping without the tents — but there is a teepee! Sitting around the campfire in the evenings with the stars above and the wolves all around is the experience of a lifetime. Google what to do in Tsitsikamma and the sanctuary is always on the list, but why just visit for a tour when you can sleep here listening to the wolves take evening roll call reminding you that it’s time to get the campfire going? Such a very special and unique accommodation— if I could give more than a rating of 10, I would. This will be the highlight of our Garden Route Tour!

The campground has a picnic area where you can spend a day out in the open. second time when been there , really impressed about the staff and facilities, i will repet the experience. I do recommend it !

The units in the campground are equipped with a kettle. A patio with an outdoor dining area and garden views is offered in all units. At the campground, the units are fitted with bed linen and towels.

Guests can swim in the outdoor swimming pool, go cycling or hiking, or relax in the garden and use the barbecue facilities. It is absolutely stunning! We had a late check-in but still had a very warm welcome. We loved the farm and was a perfect overnight on our way home. We definitely want to go back and for longer!

We enjoyed the rustic charm of this hunting lodge. Bennie, the owner, was very accommodating towards our needs, and provided both a large portable braai and wood for our use. Whilst he is busy upgrading and renovating various facilities around the lodge, it didn't interfere with our stay, or comfort. We also enjoyed the walks around the farm, coming across lots of game on the trail.

Guests at the campground will be able to enjoy activities in and around Uitenhage, like hiking. The campground also features outdoor fireplace and a picnic area for a day out in the open. the location being surround by the bush! we had a little running stream in front of our cabin.
