A recently renovated campground located in Bidiyah, Al Salam Desert Camp Bidiya features a shared lounge. Fantastic staff and facilities, the rooms were amazing and very conveniently placed. Amazing food and numerous activities to choose from. Fantastic place!

Situated in Bidiyah, Moon Light Camp features accommodation with seating area. The campground has family rooms. All units have a private bathroom, free toiletries and bed linen. The hospitals of the owner is amazing. He was welcoming us and also giving a lot of information about Oman. The place is very clean and the bed so comfortable!!! Every room has a personal toilet with shower (water is cold but under the stars and so refreshing).also every room has a USB plug to recharge your mobiles. They also provide you with all the things for the bathroom as towel, dental kit, shampoo etc. there only a few tends so not too many people. Dinner and breakfast as little buffet style:simple but very tasty. I like also that the tends are on the real dunes (some others are on a flat fake site). Better if you ask them to come to pick you up outside the desert as difficult to go by yourself.

Located 50 km from Wadi Bin Khalid, SAFARI-Glamping offers accommodation in Bidiyah-20 kms inside the desert from the village Al Hawaiyah. Our experience at Safari Glamping was really amazing. We tried a lot of delicious traditional food, rented quad bike from a nearby camp, which is owned by the same person, and he invited us for a dinner at this bigger camp, where we had the opportunity to speak with him about his life as a beduin. The host in our camp was really nice and helpful, prepared fire and a really good food for us and as we were lucky to be alone there, we had a chance to speak with him. The room was really clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. We drove to the camp by our 4WD car and it was simple and without any problem. You just need to have your tires deflated beforehand. 100% recommended experience worth the money.

Safari Dunes is a permanent camp located 8 km away from the base safari desert camp. It is a small camp with 5 tents located on the top of the dunes. Excellent location! Value for money.

Desert Wonders Camp is situated on Eastern Sands that stretches from Eastern Hajars to the Arabian Sea. Lit by lanterns, the camp offers Bedouin-style accommodation with tents. The camp is located between stunning sand dunes where you can go watch the sunset, sunrise or the beautiful starts at night. The drive with our 4wd SUV was made easy thanks to Nasser’s help, and that drive itself is already a memorable experience. We were alone in the camp, being still low season, but we were greeted with a tasty dinner and breakfast, comfortable beds, perfectly working shower, friendly staff… unbeatable value. There is also the possibility of sleeping under the stars in a platform with mattresses and pillows.

A good location for a relaxing stay in Bidiyah, Milky Way Domes is a campground surrounded by views of the garden. I have been to a lot of places in my life already and this is by far the most unique ever. I am definitely coming back. The owner is really friendly and we had a nice and cozy evening together with the other guests! And we saw the Milky Way!

Situated in Al Wāşil, Delight Desert Camp offers accommodation with seating area. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Activities: dune bashing, camel ride, dinner in the dunes Our host was so friendly and really good to talk to. Amazing hospitality! To experience the desert was a highlight of our trip!

SAMA Al Areesh Camp is set in Al Qābil. For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. At the campground, the traditional restaurant is open for dinner and serves Chinese cuisine. Super luxurious place right next to the dunes. You can hike up for the sunset view or so the tours offered by the camp. The manager is very attentive and kind. Was very happy with my stay

Sama Al Wasil Desert Camp is located in Shāhiq and offers a restaurant buffet. It includes table tennis and darts. The accommodation will provide you with a seating area. The food was good. The location is great. For families, this is the perfect place. They played live arabic music during the dinner. The houses has a very cool design and layout.

Set in Shāhiq, Sands Dream Tourism Camp provides accommodation with seating area. Boasting full-day security, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. We had normal car so left ours at the gas station and were picked up by Ahmed who drove us to the camp. We specifically booked this camp to avoid hige amount of people. This camp has few tents with yout own toilet and shower. We had a family tent with hugh bed for us and nice beds for our kids. The bed sheets were so nice that I didn't even wanted to get out of my bed and neither our children 🙃 Dinner and breakfast were simple but completely fine and really enough. We had a central tent where people gather and played games or just simply exchanged ideas and tips for travelling through Oman. The gentleman taking care of this camp is so very polite and helpful. We enjoyed a 4x4 ride through the dunes with a sunset view and the next morning our kids did sandboarding and short ride on a kamel. We believe that if you come to the desert you should just try it the simple way and not to book a luxurious room/ house but a simple tent.
