Mirador Valle de la Tatacoa in Villavieja provides accommodation with a garden and a terrace. There is an on-site restaurant and free private parking. It was really cool to be out in the middle of nowhere in the desert. The hotel is very rustic and located on a functioning ranch with cows and horses and everything. It is also walking distance from the two grey desert hiking trails. The owner was really friendly and fun to chat with as well as helpful with anything we needed. The food was also some of the best hotel food we’ve had.

Biohotel tatacoa Qji is set in Villavieja and has a pool with a view and garden views. There is an in-house restaurant and free private parking. We loved our stay here. It was a bit of a splurge for us on an otherwise budget trip to Colombia and it did not disappoint. We loved stargazing on the net hammock and generally being in the middle of nowhere. Cindy was very friendly and prepared excellent food.

Situated in La Victoria, Pachingo Tatacoa Desert features accommodation with seating area. This campground has a garden. Guests can enjoy mountain views. Some units have a terrace and/or a balcony. I loved the cottage, and the whole feel of it. It felt like we were secluded, so that was really nice.

A real quiet place make u feel you are alone in the world. And the team is so friendly, helpful and smiling. They make you feel like part of the family. (Thanks again to all of you) Do not hesitate to stop for at least 2 nights to perfectly disconnect from everyday life.
