Set in Vodnjan and only 13 km from Pula Arena, Papafigo Camping offers accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. There is a private entrance at the campground for the convenience of those who stay. The place is situated in an olive garden, between the trees. The tent we visited was brand new, as everything else in there. We arrived at 11 and it was already ready for us. The tent itself is very comfortable, has AC and every other equipment you could wish for during your holliday. The pool is also new, clean, nice and quite big. The restaurant offers breakfast (very tasty and nicely served) and dinner (between 15 and 22). Furthermore the view from the restaurants roof is spectacular. The hosts (a family I suppose) are very friendly, professional and ready to help you anytime.

We flew into Zagreb, about 3 hours to Fazana, beautiful road. (you do have to pay for it, whole stretch about 15 euros)Campsite clearly sign posted. Checked in by reception, then a second check in for the Glamping tent. Very spacious tent, one double bed and a bunk bed separated by a curtain. Bath room with toilet and shower and sink. Lots of room. Kitchen well equipped. We used the toilet facilities on the camp site as well after the beach, excellent conditions, extremely clean. Cars are allowed on the campsite no hinderance at all. Pets are allowed again no hinderance. We were close to reception, about a 10 minute walk in a straight line to the beach. About 20 minutes to walk into Fazana. Quaint little village, Lots of tours to the Bruijni islands. We travelled with 2 kids 17 and 19. They used the jet skis, which they loved, all very relaxed and easy. We went for a buggy ride around the area can recommend. About 2 hour drive through the country side and off road, great fun. We went with our rental car to the plitvice lakes about 3 hour drive. Beautiful national park with a lot of waterfalls, boat ride. Bought the tickets online directly on their website. Visited Pula, touristy village with a castle and a Roman theatre were some of the highlights. Food at the campsite, delicious, tested all the restaurants. Live band at Al Mare restaurant. Great time had by all.

There is a store nearby where you can buy drinks, there a very good restaurant nearby: Restoran MASLINA, there is a bakery (Pekara Vodnjan) where you can enjoy yourself in the morning before leaving for your favorite beach.

The apartments themselves are outstanding, there is everything you need and even more. Very clean and warm pool, convenient place to relax with sun beds and barbecue. The hosts Majda, Nikola and their family are super friendly and helpful. They met us with local wine and home made pastry, organized fish grill evening for us and provided us with everything for barbecue party. They made our holiday unforgettable! Strongly recommended place to visit!

Noticed from our ID cards that my wife celebrated her birthday during our stay and even presented a birthday gift to her !!! Great place for longer stays. Well equiped kitchen. Washing machine was a bonus after long days on the beach. Looking forward to go back.

Nothing was too much trouble and they also delivered us a lovely basket of fresh vegetables grown in their garden. The rooms were very clean and lots of space, outside was a lovely space to relax in. They gave us lots of great recommendation which helped us make the most of our holiday. Would highly recommend and will definitely be visiting again.
