The staff and management were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The location is superb in woods close to both St Martin and La Flotte along with two supermarkets and an excellent bakery. Cycles are available on site for rental, a car is not really needed.

Lovely family camping with good and clean facilities. We stayed in a Chalet Evasion, which is a really nice accommodation for families with young kids. Location of the camping is prefect, lots of nice bike trails around this location.

Camping Les Peupliers is located on L’Ile de Ré Island, just 800 metres from the beach and has a seasonal outdoor pool with slides and a paddling pool.

As non- French I didn’t know what quite to expect when visiting Le Phare and Ile de Ré, but the photos look promising which is why we even decided to go to Les Portes en Ré. And I have to say Le Phare topped my expectations!! The site is beautiful, with a lot of greenery, two pools, very close to two beaches… the huts very comfortable and very private. The restaurant is also great and the staff was very welcoming and kind. One can rent bikes and visit other places on the island which I highly recommend!
