Il giro in 4x4 sulle dune è stato molto divertente e la serata intorno al fuoco molto piacevole. Said è una persona estremamente disponibile che ti mette subito a tuo agio.

Il Nomadic Desert Camp si trova a Al Wāşil. In loco troverete un ristorante e un parcheggio privato gratuito. Al mattino vi attende una colazione continentale o a buffet. The camp is located not too close from the nearest village, offering an immersive desert experience. The tents are spacious, clean and nicely decorated and so is the dining area. The staff is helpful, kind and efficient and agreeing pick up was really easy. The buffet was generous with a good and tasty selection of food. The camp offers activities like camel riding and dune safari. We enjoyed both very much. The greatest plus of this camp is that, compared to other structures who might have more of a hotel feel, gives the travellers a authentic and close to nature experience. We would go back and we will recommend it to family and friends.

First of all we were completely alone in the middle of the beautiful omani desert: a unique experience! We loved the authenticity of the structure and of its owner, Humied (and the camels of course, the real bosses there). He is a very entertaining host: we ate together both at dinner and breakfast and we had the opportunity to talk a lot about Oman and its culture and traditions. The tent, the linens, the private external toilet were all very clean! PS: Unexpectedly, there was some sand in the tent, next time please provide us with a broom Humied 😉just joking of course 😜

Comfy tents and beds (on platforms), good food. Most importantly, it was quiet: far enough from other camps and city, only four tents in camp I think. So the desert night was quiet and perfect for star-gazing. This alone deserves their high reviews. But on top of that, Mr. Ali and his staff saved me with car trouble. Somehow, I lost my rental car keys... They helped me look everywhere. I was kicking myself and preparing myself for a delay of one or two days. But Mr. Ali located a car mechanic, and the mechanic made a new key (!) for a very reasonable price. I was back on the road in 90 minutes.

The camp is on top of a sand dune and has amazing views. You can even enjoy the view on a swing. Very comfortable beds!

L'Oman desert private camp sorge a 10 km nel deserto, in cima a una delle dune più alte della zona. La sua tenda di lusso si sviluppa su 2 piani. Ogni tenda dispone di balcone e tavolo da pranzo. E' andato tutto bene, il luogo di incontro era facile da trovare con Google map. I ragazzi parlavano un buon inglese. Erano di poche parole, ma disponibili. Un campo molto tranquillo con grande privacy ma anche possibiità di socializzazione. Un ottima struttura per vivere il deserto come preferisci. Ottima scelta le tende sopraelevate: evitano di portare troppa sabbia dentro. Bellissime le altalene in cima alle dune. Breve giro sul cammello incluso, ottimo per i bambini. Cena buona e abbondante. Un fuoco lasciato acceso dopo cena con le sedie intorno per chiacchierare. Aggiungo solo che, a volte, i viaggiatori si lamentano un po' troppo. Forse bisognerebbe pensare se quello che si scrive sia proprio utile per gli altri viaggiatori!

We were traveling in two families - 4 adults and 3 kids - and Desert Star Team did an amazing job to assure exceptional service during our stay in a truly authentic desert camping experience.
