Location was fantastic for Reykjavik, close to food, bars, attractions and I managed to get some nice sunset views from my window.

Big sunny studio apartment with views one way down the street to the big church and the other way to the sea. Lovely afternoon sun and peaks of sunset through the buildings too. Good kitchen with big fridge and oven and stovetop plus microwave and comfy couch and dining table.

Plentiful free parking, good location and friendly staff. Lobby was nice. Don’t worry about the egg/sulphur smell when using hot shower water - this is normal due to how hot water in Iceland works, it is safe and you won’t smell after using the shower.

The room was clean and warm. The beds were really comfy, cosy duvets. Nice hot shower with great water pressure and two showerhehads. Each floor has a hairdryer. Hostel was almost fully booked while we were there but it wasn't noisy at all. Well stocked kitchen with everything you need for basic cooking. Staff were friendly. Easy self check in and out.

Everything was perfect. Lovely comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, lovely hot shower - have read comments about no door to shower but we didn’t find it a problem at all! Really great location right on the centre of everything. But there was noise of revellers at night so if you want a quiet and peaceful break perhaps don’t choose the city centre. The staff were marvellous, responsive, friendly and helpful. Thankyou for a lovely stay!

Using access codes made it so easy and simple and less likely to forget keys as the code was always on my phone. It felt safe too. Lovely apartment, perfect size for one person, had everything I needed, very clean and tidy, also the views from the window were amazing especially during sunset. Good reasonable distance from the main town area with shops, close to amenities and cafe opposite the flat. Nice location, easy to reach via taxi or local bus,was able to access local excursions/tour buses close by too.

We got upgraded to the building’s penthouse and WOW! The view of Reykjavik was breathtaking! It was lovely to see the sunrise, sunset and the fireworks. The interior decor was also very nice, kitchen was well equipped (we only used it for breakfast). Location was also great - in a quiet residential area, around 10 min walk to the bus stop and downtown. We enjoyed using the TV set up in the evening (with Netflix, Spotify etc).

We went for Christmas, my daughter and I and had the most amazing trip! Linda the owner was amazing, heating was on and she was so accommodating, hot showers, fluffy clean duvets and a large enough oven for our Christmas Dinner, views breathtaking and walks to die for.....amazing time!

Beautiful house and rooms - the definition of scandi cool! Wonderful hot showers and a perfect location for exploring Reykjavik. A lovely host with some great recommendations of what to do in Reykjavik and a good breakfast although we were expecting some hot food to be available (we didn't specially ask for anything so unsure if this would have been an option). Easy parking in a multistorey close by.
