It is a project designed by the owner and his daughter, who are both architects. The hotel is small and quiet, with less than 10 rooms, but has all the facilities - a gym, a yoga place, swimming pool, breakfast, hot tub and access to a small river.

Situated in Florencia, 32 km from Kalambu Hot Springs, Momotus Glamping features accommodation with a hot tub. The air-conditioned accommodation is 33 km from La Fortuna Waterfall. Momotus is perfect place to retreat and connect with nature, it has all the facilities you need. The jacuzzi is perfect, you can see insects, birds and if you are lucky a sloth. The hosts are super friendly, helpful and flexible, I would definitely come back!

The best place we have ever stayed, we will remember waking up to that view forever! David and his father were so kind and accommodating, they even drove us to see the local sights and we had a great time getting to know them. The food was also exceptional, David’s father is an amazing cook. We couldn’t recommend it more, an amazing place to experience the wonderful nature of Costa Rica.

Set in Rio Celeste and only 49 km from Venado Caves, Volcano Tenorio Glamping Ranch - 3 Tents offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. We had three generations traveling together, so we filled all three tents. The setting was gorgeous and it offered a truly unique experience. It rained quite a bit, but that’s to be expected in a rainforest. If you’re prepared for it, it’s awesome. Glamping probably isn’t for everyone, but we loved it. The area offers loads of nature related things to do and we found pretty good restaurants nearby. We had little kids with us and could do the atv tour, but wish we would have figured out a way to do it in shifts.

Friendly staff, tent is nicely in the nature. Beautiful surroundings with trees, bushes and streams. We also saw tucans, hummingbirds and parrots at the breakfast.

Lots of birds and great walks available right on the property which is 5 minutes from the park gates. Restaurant plays jazz, the menu is inspired (homemade passion fruit jam and house hot sauce made from charred, peeled chilies) and the toucans crunch on bananas while you eat your eggs benedict and enjoy fresh pour over coffee. The property has been in the family from before the road or electricity. Bring a jacket for when the clouds come rolling in. When the sun shines you can see Arenal volcano.
