The location is ideal. The tent is very clean, beds are comfy. Staff are nice. Breakfasts were delivered to our door and they were excellent. Watching sunset on the patio is so memorable. Just ideal in every way. My kid rated the best stay ever.

My husband and i stayed here over Thanksgiving and we loved it. It's so quiet and pretty and Germana is such a sweet person. My favorite parts were the hot tub which we utilized every night we were there and the delicious breakfast that was dropped off to our door every morning. There's parking for soul glamping and we never had an issue with finding a space, prazeres/calheta is a bit out of the way so a car would be very useful for this area and you are quite far about an hour for the bigger hikes like pico ruvio which I would suggest basing yourself closer to funchal or maybe splitting your trip into two parts because this area is great to stay in!
