Absolutely phenomenal hotel. Perfect location and less than 5 minutes walk to a beautiful lake with swans where I spent every sunrise and sunset. The room was incredible and also had Netflix which as a solo traveller was awesome for the evenings. This is my favourite hotel I’ve ever stayed in and I travel once a month. Staff on the front desk were endlessly helpful and friendly

We got upgraded to the building’s penthouse and WOW! The view of Reykjavik was breathtaking! It was lovely to see the sunrise, sunset and the fireworks. The interior decor was also very nice, kitchen was well equipped (we only used it for breakfast). Location was also great - in a quiet residential area, around 10 min walk to the bus stop and downtown. We enjoyed using the TV set up in the evening (with Netflix, Spotify etc).

Super spacious room - overlooking the City directly in front of us. Funky glass windows by shower area so you can shower while looking at a sunrise/sunset. Liked this hotel a lot. Perfect location for the City center - can walk to every and anything. Top tip - the ice cream parlour next to the hotel - is 10/10 as is the 24 hour supermarket.

The room was clean and not too small (two twin beds, large desk, closets, mini fridge), the bathroom was good too (very hot shower which I appreciated), daily cleaning was appreciated. Breakfast had a good variety. Windows to the room could be opened which added to COVID safety (but the breakfast room was not COVID safe because it was small and not very well ventilated) and allowed for fresh air.

Loved the kitchenette in the room, literally cpuld make anything there! There was even a mini dishwasher, kettle, toaster etc. So handy. Have to say, I liked the human-less check in.. very easy and efficient to use. Good few places to eat and supermarket nearby too. I never had a prob getting a parking space too. Really good, hot shower too.

we were in the guesthouse for two nights, we had to change rooms because I made the reservation at a different time. The staff kindly took care of moving my belongings from one room to another while we were on a whale safari. The apartments were very clean. Actually, the only difficulty was the steep stairs that had to be taken to get to the room. The location in the city center was excellent.

Aside from the large space and beautiful decor the best thing about this apartment was the central location and view. The terrace offers views of the famous church. This view is made even better at sunset. There is also a chance to see the northern lights however, on the night we stayed we unfortunately didn’t get to see them.
