The Apartment hotel has exceeded our expectations. The room was nicely designed, everything seemed to be newish, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly, the restaurant had great breakfast, good variety of drinks and food for dinner to. Storage room was excellent for the skis and boots. (Although we will never ski in Slovakia again, as the management of the ski region is terrible).

La Penzion Fako se encuentra en una zona tranquila, a 3,5 km del centro de Liptovský Mikuláš y a 3 km de la estación de esquí de Opalisko. Hay pista de tenis y WiFi gratuita. Wow, what a find! Interesting location, a bus ride from the station and in a little community. The apartment is super and such good value with fantastic views of the mountains. Super quiet too (the owners ask for quiet after 10pm). I came without food but thankfully there is a big Billa supermarket a short walk away. The owners ask for cash payment so make sure you bring some!

There's a private sauna and jakuzzi for the 6 apartments in the building, can be booked in advance so you can use privately. Well equipped and clean, all facilites are good.

We booked the one bedroom apartment with jacuzzi. The apartment was spacious, well equipped, we enjoyed the jacuzzi in the evenings. Although the cot we requested for our baby was not in the facility when we arrived, when we called reception, they delivered it within one hour. We primarily chose the accommodation for it's location close to the ski lift. Unfortunately there was no snow, apart from the slopes, but it was still only a short walk with the ski boots on.
