I am so glad I decided to stop here for two nights during my bike packing trip. Great spot to start beautiful hikes, cozy food, nice staff. Go out at night and look at the stars! Also super appreciated they have free tampons and pads in the bathroom, never seen this in a hut and thankful for that!!

Since my fiancé and I had booked a last minute trip to Slovenia, many of the hotels were already filled. We stumbled upon Pino Alpino and it was absolutely the best find! It is both a boutique hotel upstairs and a lovely resturant/ wine bar below. It is located at the heart of Kranjska Gora which made it easy to get around. Whether you’re relaxing by the main square, cycling or hiking, it’s possible to use the hotel as home base. A short walk and you could get to Lake Jasna for a swim. The hotel itself was newly renovated and clean. The resturant and wine bar were very modern. We didn’t have the opportunity to have dinner there but the complimentary breakfast was delicious and plentiful. We also appreciated the staff accommodating our food allergies. The hotel manager was beyond hospitable when we found ourselves in a tight bind without enough euro to cover transportation to our next stop. Unfortunately there didn’t seem to be many transportation services going around the park or neighboring towns and none took card. Thankfully the manager’s son help us with some currency exchange and even spent the day showing us around! He was super approachable, knowledgeable and fun! We were happy to have made a local friend and grateful for the generosity. We would love to visit again!

Den lille lejlighed med 2 soveværelser var ren, pæn og moderne indrettet. Der var en lille altan med udsigt til bjergene. Virkelig imødekommende og venlige værter, der var behjælpelige med alt. Køkken er ikke til madlavning, da der ikke er komfur eller ovn, men der kan sagtens spises take-away eller kold mad på den lille spiseplads i køkkenet, da der er service. God morgenmadsbuffet. Parkering ved huset. Kort gåafstand til restauranter, indkøb, Jasna Lake og vandrestier. Vi kan sagtens finde på at bo her igen.

Perfect location outside the touristy area; apartment was immaculate and new with a great shower and comfortable beds. The hosts were so kind. We arrived late and asked for a recommendation for where to get coffee in the morning - woke up to a soft knock on the door with a beautiful tray of coffee, orange juice and fresh croissants. Made our day!
