He provided me with information on where to eat and where to buy groceries. He even offered to pick me up at the bus stop so I wouldn't have to walk in the rain. The accommodations are very clean, secure, and right on the PR1 trail that leads to the Castillo and the other trails to the schist villages.

Arrival was very slick, no check-in just enter the codes provided and enter the apartment. The entrance area and lift were scrupulously clean, tidy and well lit. Our apartment was on the third floor and was an attic conversion. It was very well designed and had absolutely everything you could need. The fridge was well stocked for breakfast the following morning and this was restocked throughout our stay. Fresh bread was left every morning in a bag outside our door. Full marks for a wonderful experience.

Beautifully renovated property in the countryside. Wonderful staff who went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful stay. We are travelling in off season so hotel was not busy. Thank you especially to Claudia and to the chef you stayed later to prepare and serve us dinner. Excellent beds, spacious rooms with small patios.

A beautiful setting in an interesting part of Portugal. We loved the walks/trails that were near by, we picked an abundance of fruit from the trees surrounding our accom and enjoyed great chats with our hosts. Our accomodation was extremely comfy,

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful hostel. It feels more like a bed and breakfast than a hostel if you reserve a private room. The room was impeccably clean, very comfortable, and breakfast was quite satisfying! The owners were also so thoughtful and kind, and take amazing care of the property! Even though it was a little rainy, the hiking nearby was really pretty, and it’s easy to hike or drive to explore a few of the schist villages from Lousã. We’d be thrilled to return!!
